Can you give me some advice? I've been feeling really awful about my appearance recently, especially my weight. The exercise I do is minimal and, even though I'm only overweight by maybe around ten pounds, I feel like I'm huge. It's not that I really hate the weight or anything, I hate that I hate it and that I feel bad about myself and feel like I look awful even when I know logically it's not true. What could help?
I know how you feel, and I think I know what could help. Physically, just taking small walks every once and a while and cutting down on sugary drinks gradually made me feel cleaner and generally more confident about the way I looked and felt. I think what was going on with me was depression psychologically - my inward feelings about life and myself were interfering with my outward appearance and made it that much worse. I’m not saying that this is happening with you, but it was something that was happening with me and may be something to consider.
If that’s the case, if you ever need help, it’s always there. People will understand how you feel and can also improve how you feel about yourself. Ultimately, your self image stems from your confidence and if you’re confident that you can overcome your stigma, then your bad feelings will eventually dissipate, I promise.

why is she in prison?
it’s a really long story…um the first time she went it was for prescription medication (she was addicted to pain meds like vicodin). then the second time was for much harder drugs like idk OH YEAH CRYSTAL METH (yes it’s true) and now the third time she got caught doctor shopping again and was sent back to prison
